Enterprise Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive technology solutions that align with the business objectives and technical needs of clients.

• Utilize expertise in cloud computing, storage, virtualization, server and mainframe technologies, operating systems, networking, business applications, and security infrastructure.

• Collaborate with sales teams and clients to assess needs, address solution gaps, and create architectures utilizing Ensono offerings.

• Propose innovative technologies and methodologies.

• Create fully costed solution architectures.

• Ensure accurate documentation of customer solutions is maintained.

• Deliver recommendations through client presentations, collaborative discussions, and proposals.

• Organize and clarify tasks for complex or unclear situations.

• Provide consultation, training, and knowledge sharing to colleagues.

• Contribute to the domain's body of knowledge.

• Develop and maintain reference architecture for Ensono infrastructure solutions.

• Serve as the data center subject matter expert responsible for infrastructure architecture in one or more client environments.

• Gather infrastructure solution requirements from clients.

• Draft infrastructure solution designs that meet or exceed established requirements.

• Function as a technical subject matter expert during implementation, ensuring compliance with the proposed design.

• Provide cost estimates for implementation and ongoing production support.

• Engage in client project communications with a consultative approach, recommending solutions to overcome challenges.

• Participate in the internal Architecture Review Board.

• Ensure designs meet functional and technical requirements while tracking progress against SLAs.

• Maintain the accuracy, process integrity, quality, and stewardship of client infrastructure solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 5 years with a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience.

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and hybrid solutions.

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, solution design methodologies, and technology governance practices.

• Experience interacting with executive stakeholders and translating business goals into technical strategies.

• Proven ability to develop solution estimates, business cases, and technology roadmaps.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience leading complex technology projects across various disciplines and stakeholder groups.

• Preferred knowledge of ITILv3, ITSM, IBM/Power systems, server hardware, Unix, Microsoft technologies, Symantec, storage platforms, Brocade, VMware, monitoring tools, Cisco Nexus, Checkpoint, Bluecoat, and load balancers.
