This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Evaluate the technical needs of prospects and leverage your expertise in Chainguard products to illustrate how our solutions fulfill clients’ unmet demands.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across various organizational levels.
• Balance and negotiate the differing priorities of multiple stakeholders.
• Achieve technical successes through demonstrations, RFP/RFI responses, leading POVs, feature partnership requests with engineering, conferences, and industry events.
• Collaborate with the Sales Team to assist customers in assessing and validating the value of our solutions.
• Acquire new client logos while expanding the existing customer portfolio.
• Manage all technical elements of sales opportunities.
• Aid current clients in recognizing the value proposition of Chainguard.
• Actively listen to customers to grasp their challenges.
• Conduct product demonstrations and facilitate POVs/POCs.
• Engage in webinars, meetups, conferences, and various marketing activities.
• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message sales methodologies.
• Over 5 years of experience in selling to Enterprise clients and engaging with Mid Market prospects.
• Knowledge of container technologies, such as Kubernetes, Serverless, and Docker.
• Proficient in cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, Google, etc.
• Experience in cloud security or container security.
• Background in Application Security.
• Experience within startup environments.
• Demonstrated ability to persist until achieving success.
• Capacity to serve as a trusted advisor and establish credibility with customers.
