This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the technical expert and main technical decision-making partner throughout the enterprise sales process, from initial discovery to final closure.
• Take ownership of the success criteria and outcomes for the Proof of Value.
• Facilitate architecture-level discussions with security, email, and identity teams.
• Perform technical discovery to identify customer risks and requirements.
• Conduct research on the technical and competitive landscape to address customer inquiries and objections.
• Respond to architecture-level inquiries and questions related to modern threats.
• Clarify the reasons why traditional secure email gateways are ineffective against social engineering and identity-centric attacks.
• Inform sales executives and partners about Abnormal AI’s products, platform, and security posture.
• Foster customer satisfaction and ensure successful outcomes for enterprise clients.
• Deliver both in-person and remote product demonstrations.
• Communicate the technical and business value of Abnormal AI’s platform effectively.
• Residing in the TOLA region.
• Over 5 years of Sales Engineering experience or similar industry background.
• Proficient in leading technical discovery and architecture discussions with security, infrastructure, identity, and compliance teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations.
• Capable of identifying complex business challenges and designing solutions.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic Enterprise sales setting.
• Strong customer-centric approach and commitment to customer success.
• Technical knowledge of SaaS security frameworks, particularly in multi-tenant cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP, TLS, and networking concepts related to email and SaaS security.
• Experience with enterprise email security solutions such as Proofpoint, Mimecast, Cisco, or Barracuda.
• Technical foundation in messaging and internet security concepts.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Exchange Online/Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Understanding of SMTP mail flow, MX records, and mail routing.
• Basic knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Insight into cloud SaaS infrastructure and identity services like Azure AD/Entra ID/Google Identity.
• Ability to articulate identity-driven and contemporary social engineering attacks and corresponding architectural controls.
• Experience with integrating SaaS platforms using OAuth and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk or Sentinel and SOC processes.
• Background working with SOC incident response teams and related workflows.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
