This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Acquire new business and expand customer sales opportunities from Executive-level decision-makers and influencers in both private and publicly traded companies.
• Market Workiva’s core platform and collaborate with Solution Sales teams to provide multi-solution sales across the largest customer accounts.
• Establish relationships and identify Workiva products and solutions that cater to customer needs.
• Drive customer acquisition and growth within a designated territory.
• Achieve sales growth through new customer subscriptions, professional services, delivery, and training.
• Explore sales opportunities in partnership with Inside Sales, Solution Specialists, and Partnerships.
• Deliver engaging Workiva platform demonstrations in collaboration with the Solution Consulting Team.
• Address customer objections and solve client challenges with suitable solutions.
• Lead sales processes to closure by illustrating Workiva value propositions.
• Regularly update customer relationship management tools with client contacts.
• Forecast sales through ongoing pipeline evaluations.
• Strategically plan and implement sales strategies.
• Secure internal support for account pursuits.
• Prioritize sales activities and ensure timely follow-through.
• Maintain a robust knowledge of Workiva solutions through continuous training.
• 10 years of sales experience in a relevant role, engaging Executive-level buyers in enterprise technology, Software as a Service (SaaS), or other complex solution sales.
• An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of knowledge and relevant career experience.
• Proven track record as a top performer.
• Familiarity with the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
• Capability to demonstrate complex software applications.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to comprehend intricate business challenges.
• Executive presence with the capability to communicate effectively at the senior level.
• Proficiency in identifying and recognizing the influence of decision-makers versus buyers and navigating the subtleties of each during the sales cycle.
• Ability to manage multiple intricate sales cycles at once.
• Skill in negotiating pricing while focusing on preserving value.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quota targets.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for regular customer meetings and events.
• Reliable internet access is required for any time spent working remotely, away from a Workiva office.
