This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Drive strategic growth across a diverse portfolio of clients in retail, insurance, manufacturing, and hospitality sectors throughout the Northeast region.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.
• Create long-term account strategies and detailed business plans for accounts.
• Lead cross-functional and extended teams to enhance HPE’s presence in networking, hybrid cloud, AI, compute, storage, and service solutions.
• Align customer KPIs, business objectives, and initiatives with HPE IT solutions.
• Influence customer executives by clearly conveying the value and significance of HPE solutions.
• Develop frameworks that demonstrate customer business value.
• Implement strategies to promote growth and profitability across HPE’s portfolio.
• Design and present technology options that increase HPE's presence and account margins.
• Utilize HPE programs, tools, executive sponsors, deal support, and supply chain initiatives.
• Identify customer opportunities and convert business challenges into IT solutions.
• Build pipelines, initiate early engagements, and drive deals to closure with multidisciplinary teams and partners.
• Cultivate executive relationships and create customer engagement models.
• Foster partner relationships and oversee the account partner network.
• Engage with customer CTOs/CIOs to present relevant IT trends and HPE portfolio capabilities.
• Manage account team governance and provide consistent feedback to team members and managers.
• Collaborate with customer-facing HPE divisions to enhance customer experience, satisfaction, and loyalty.
• Oversee both strategic and tactical components of account plans.
• Qualify and close large, moderately to highly complex deals.
• Coordinate regional pursuit resources and partake in pricing and resource investment decisions.
• A university or bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• A background in engineering or technology, along with an advanced degree or MBA, is desired.
• Over 6 years of experience in enterprise technology sales or strategic account management.
• Experience in the IT industry is preferred.
• Experience working within an IT department and/or with clients is advantageous.
• A background in various sales roles is a plus.
• Significant experience supporting clients in retail, insurance, manufacturing, or hospitality is highly desired.
• Strong consultative sales approach and an executive presence.
• Proven success in expanding complex enterprise accounts.
• Familiarity with IT industry advancements and technology trends.
• Comprehensive understanding of HPE products, solutions, and services.
• Ability to lead dispersed and indirect teams within a complex matrix organization.
• Excellent professional relationship-building and networking skills.
• Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities.
• Solid business and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret financial reports.
• Skills in consulting and achieving customer business outcomes.
• Preferred candidates should reside in Maryland.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–40% of the time.
