Enterprise Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the Canadian Power and Utility market comprehensively, beginning with a portfolio of major Canadian electric utilities.

• Develop and enhance business relationships with Canadian utility accounts.

• Identify new utility prospects and engage with senior leaders.

• Lead consultative sales processes across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Showcase the product and create compelling business cases for prospects and qualified leads.

• Finalize agreements, including seven-figure contracts.

• Identify, qualify, and nurture relationships while overseeing the complete sales process from initial contact to closing.

• Secure deals with targeted Canadian accounts.

• Participate in industry events and trade shows while traveling across Canada to connect with prospects.

• Keep precise records of deal information, next steps, probabilities, and communications in the sales CRM.

• Collaborate with sales and executive leadership, marketing, solutioning, customer success, and delivery teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of sales experience at an enterprise software / SaaS company serving Canadian clients.

• Demonstrated success in securing and expanding complex multi-stakeholder accounts.

• Experience in startups, preferably those backed by VC, Series A or B.

• Willingness to travel frequently.

• Outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills in a dynamic environment.

• Team-oriented approach with an openness to feedback.

• Experience in structured sales processes and opportunity qualification frameworks.

• Proven ability to navigate lengthy sales cycles in highly regulated industries.

• Experience selling to utilities is advantageous.

• Familiarity with vegetation management, energy infrastructure, GIS data, or climate-related operational workflows is a plus.

• A strong network within the utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors is beneficial.
