This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the language quality authority and the main linguistic expert liaising with a prominent global technology client.
• Take ownership of the locale’s interpretation of the client’s quality benchmarks and ensure alignment among the Post-Editing Lead, Post Editors, and Reviewers regarding quality standards.
• Serve as the primary contact for the client’s Language Manager concerning quality discussions, arbitration, and escalations.
• Promote consistency, quality governance, and ongoing enhancement across UI, marketing, product, informational, legal, and support content.
• Review updates to the style guide and glossary, evaluate impacted quality categories and content types, and document changes.
• Monitor corrections and feedback from the client Language Manager during calibration and quality calls.
• Facilitate alignment roundtables and produce a structured monthly quality report.
• Provide one-on-one coaching to Reviewers, conduct shadowing sessions, and deliver training informed by alignment data.
• Create style guide proposals based on recurring justification trends and share cross-locale patterns with the Welocalize Quality Manager.
• Manage the locale’s review service score, RQE audit and alignment performance, maintain arbitration record integrity, and foster a positive client relationship.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in Localization Quality Assurance (LQA), Senior Language Lead, or roles focused on Quality Governance.
• Proven experience serving as the primary liaison for client Language Managers, overseeing formal arbitration or escalation procedures, and managing conflict resolution.
• Extensive practical knowledge of localization evaluation frameworks, such as RQE, LQE, error rubrics, and severity mapping.
• Capability to analyze changes in style guides, recognize implicit client expectations, and map tolerance levels by content type.
• Practical experience with one-on-one coaching, shadowing sessions, alignment roundtables, and structured monthly quality reporting.
• Proficient in tracking error concentrations, observing severity drift, and alignment scores, as well as translating justification patterns into style guide enhancements.
• Native-level proficiency in Uzbek (Cyrillic) and professional-level English.
• A background check is mandatory as part of the onboarding process.
• Candidates must reside in one of the approved countries.
