This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the primary language quality owner and the main client-facing linguistic expert for a prominent global technology client.
β’ Take responsibility for the locale's interpretation of the client's quality standards.
β’ Ensure alignment among the Post-Editing Lead, Post Editors, and Reviewers to foster a common understanding of quality.
β’ Serve as the primary liaison for the clientβs Language Manager regarding quality discussions, arbitration, and escalations.
β’ Promote consistency, quality governance, and ongoing enhancement across UI, marketing, product, informational, legal, and support content.
β’ Review updates to the style guide and glossary, evaluate impacted quality categories and content types, and document changes.
β’ Monitor corrections from the client Language Manager and guidance received from calibration and quality discussions.
β’ Conduct regular alignment roundtables with the language community.
β’ Generate a structured monthly quality digest detailing performance, areas for improvement, style guide updates, errors, and arbitration results.
β’ Provide one-on-one coaching for Reviewers, facilitate shadowing sessions, and deliver training based on alignment insights.
β’ Create style guide proposals based on recurring justification patterns.
β’ Share cross-locale trends with the Welocalize Quality Manager.
β’ Maintain alignment with decisions made by the client Language Manager and raise evidence-based concerns as needed.
β’ Manage the locale's review service score, RQE audit and alignment performance, shared quality understanding, arbitration record integrity, and the client relationship.
β’ 3 to 5+ years of experience in Localization Quality Assurance (LQA), Senior Language Lead, or Quality Governance roles.
β’ Direct experience as the primary contact for client Language Managers.
β’ Experience managing formal arbitration or escalation processes.
β’ Proven skills in facilitating conflict resolution.
β’ Extensive practical knowledge of localization evaluation frameworks, including RQE, LQE, error rubrics, and severity mapping.
β’ Capability to analyze style guide changes and discern implicit client expectations.
β’ Proficiency in mapping tolerance levels by content type, including Marketing, Legal, and UI.
β’ Direct experience with one-on-one coaching, shadowing sessions, alignment roundtables, and structured monthly quality reporting.
β’ Ability to monitor error concentrations, severity drift, and alignment scores.
β’ Expertise in transforming justification patterns into style guide enhancements.
β’ Native-level proficiency in Slovak.
β’ Professional-level proficiency in English.
β’ Background check required as part of the onboarding process.
β’ Must reside in one of the approved countries.
β’ Previous experience supporting major technology localization programs and working with calibration or alignment tools is preferred.
