This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the language quality authority and the primary linguistic expert for a prominent global technology client.
β’ Take ownership of the locale's interpretation of the client's quality standards.
β’ Ensure alignment between the Post-Editing Lead, Post Editors, and Reviewers regarding shared quality expectations.
β’ Serve as the principal liaison for the client's Language Manager on discussions related to quality, arbitration, and escalations.
β’ Promote consistency, quality governance, and continuous improvement across user interface, marketing, product, informational, legal, and support content.
β’ Review updates to the style guide and glossary, evaluate impacted quality categories and content types, and document changes.
β’ Monitor corrections and feedback from the client's Language Manager from calibration and quality calls.
β’ Conduct regular alignment meetings with the language community.
β’ Publish a structured monthly quality report detailing performance, areas for improvement, style guide updates, notable errors, and arbitration results.
β’ Provide one-on-one coaching to Reviewers using specific examples.
β’ Facilitate shadowing sessions and deliver training based on alignment data.
β’ Suggest improvements to the style guide based on recurring justification trends.
β’ Share cross-locale trends with the Welocalize Quality Manager.
β’ Maintain alignment with the client and raise evidence-based concerns as needed.
β’ Manage the locale's review service score, including RQE audits and alignment performance.
β’ Ensure a shared understanding of quality within the community.
β’ Confirm that arbitration records are valid and well-supported.
β’ Oversee the working relationship with the client's Language Manager, including clarifications, escalations, and tracking expectations.
β’ 3 to 5+ years of experience in Localization Quality Assurance (LQA), Senior Language Lead, or Quality Governance roles.
β’ Direct experience serving as the primary contact for client Language Managers.
β’ Proven experience managing formal arbitration or escalation processes.
β’ Experience in facilitating conflict resolution.
β’ In-depth, practical knowledge of localization evaluation frameworks, including RQE, LQE, error rubrics, and severity mapping.
β’ Ability to analyze changes in style guides and identify implicit client expectations.
β’ Capability to map tolerance levels by content type, including Marketing, Legal, and UI.
β’ Hands-on experience with one-on-one coaching, shadowing sessions, alignment roundtables, and structured monthly quality reporting.
β’ Proficiency in tracking error concentrations, severity drift, and alignment scores.
β’ Ability to translate justification patterns into style guide improvements.
β’ Native-level proficiency in Georgian.
β’ Professional-level proficiency in English.
β’ Prior experience supporting major technology localization programs and familiarity with calibration or alignment tools is preferred.
β’ Must be physically located in one of the approved countries.
