This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the language quality authority and primary client-facing linguistic specialist for a prominent global technology client.
• Take ownership of the locale’s interpretation of the client's quality benchmarks.
• Ensure that the Post-Editing Lead, Post Editors, and Reviewers have a unified understanding of quality standards.
• Serve as the principal liaison for the client's Language Manager regarding quality discussions, arbitration, and escalation matters.
• Promote consistency, quality governance, and ongoing enhancement across UI, marketing, product, informational, legal, and support materials.
• Review and update style guides and glossaries, evaluate impacted quality categories and content types, and document modifications.
• Monitor corrections and feedback from the client Language Manager during calibration and quality discussions.
• Organize regular alignment roundtables with the linguistic community.
• Produce a structured monthly quality report that includes performance metrics, areas for improvement, style guide revisions, notable errors, and arbitration results.
• Provide one-on-one coaching to Reviewers, conduct shadowing sessions, and deliver training based on alignment insights.
• Create style guide proposals based on recurring justification trends.
• Share cross-locale trends with the Welocalize Quality Manager.
• Maintain alignment with the client and escalate evidence-based concerns as necessary.
• Oversee the locale’s review service score, community quality alignment, arbitration record integrity, and the relationship with the client Language Manager.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in Localization Quality Assurance (LQA), Senior Language Lead, or Quality Governance positions.
• Proven experience as the primary contact for client Language Managers.
• Familiarity with managing formal arbitration or escalation procedures.
• Experience in facilitating conflict resolution processes.
• In-depth, practical experience with localization evaluation frameworks, including RQE, LQE, error rubrics, and severity mapping.
• Capability to analyze style guide modifications, recognize implicit client expectations, and map tolerance levels by content type.
• Hands-on experience with one-on-one coaching, shadowing sessions, alignment roundtables, and systematic monthly quality reporting.
• Proficiency in tracking error concentrations, severity shifts, and alignment scores.
• Native-level proficiency in Armenian.
• Professional-level proficiency in English.
• Completion of a background check is required as part of the onboarding process.
• Must be physically located in one of the approved countries.
• Prior experience supporting major technology localization initiatives and utilizing calibration or alignment tools is preferred.
