This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey, +2 more countries.
• Design realistic, multi-step tasks for terminals that are based on engineering and scientific workflows.
• Generate engineering datasets, inputs for simulations, geometry files, sensor information, design constraints, and configuration files.
• Create expert-level solutions utilizing Python, C/C++, Julia, MATLAB/Octave, Bash, or other relevant engineering software.
• Construct reproducible, containerized environments equipped with the necessary tools and fixed dependencies.
• Develop tasks that encompass simulation, numerical analysis, optimization, control systems, signal processing, FEM concepts, CAD-related data, and engineering design.
• Establish automated tests and objective grading criteria to validate engineering correctness, including units, physical constraints, tolerances, convergence, stability, and boundary conditions.
• Troubleshoot issues related to solvers, dependencies, workflows, precision, and performance.
• Document assumptions, requirements, anticipated outputs, edge cases, and technical validation procedures.
• Evaluate the solvability, reproducibility, and scientific accuracy of tasks.
• Integrate feedback to enhance task quality and the reliability of evaluations.
• A Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, or equivalent advanced technical experience in an engineering discipline such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, aerospace, civil, materials, biomedical, robotics, or control systems engineering.
• Proficient scientific programming experience with Python, C/C++, Julia, MATLAB/Octave, Bash, or a similar programming language.
• Practical experience in Linux or terminal-based environments.
• Experience with engineering simulation, modeling, numerical analysis, optimization, signal processing, control systems, or technical data analysis.
• Strong comprehension of numerical methods, engineering units, physical constraints, boundary conditions, and technical validation.
• Capability to build, debug, and validate reproducible computational engineering workflows.
