This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the technical strategy for the Security Product Engineering Pods, Bug Bounty, and Vulnerability Management teams.
• Direct the Security Product Engineering, Bug Bounty, and Mythos era Vulnerability Management initiatives and roadmap execution.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to highly skilled engineers in a player-coach capacity.
• Grasp the security challenges faced by Customers, Merchants, and Dashers, guiding teams to create proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Legal, Security Engineering Platform, Data teams, and other cross-functional partners to establish paved-road proactive security measures.
• Implement cross-brand Bug Bounty, Penetration Testing, and Vulnerability Management initiatives.
• Develop and sustain operational excellence in security services, including Vulnerability Management Data Lakes.
• Influence and facilitate the secure and responsible use of AI tools from a Proactive Security standpoint.
• Contribute to the security of DoorDash’s 24x7 global infrastructure and multi-faceted delivery marketplace.
• Over 12 years of experience as a Security Product Engineer in a large-scale Internet organization.
• At least 3 years of proven technical leadership experience in leading teams to achieve outcomes at a global level.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A history of influencing industry practices in how large-scale Internet companies provide security products across global markets.
• Proven technical leadership in Account Security, Product Security Engineering, and AI Security across Business to Consumer, Business to Business, and Business to Vendor security controls.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing technical Security Engineering controls and processes that comply with regulatory standards.
• Proven track record in designing scalable, AI-enabled, and user-friendly Security Review processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex, systemic challenges.
• Outstanding analytical and investigative skills, with hands-on experience in leading root cause analyses for security incidents and developing long-term remediation plans.
