This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering their performance and career growth.
• Spearhead greenfield projects and large-scale initiatives from initial concept to production readiness.
• Assume ownership of new subjects initiated from the ground up and effectively manage ambiguity.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery through strategic planning and execution.
• Provide technical guidance in architectural design and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to align goals and outcomes.
• Support the team during leadership transitions and organizational changes.
• Continuously enhance and standardize development workflows.
• Clearly communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Over 6 years of experience in software development.
• More than 2 years of experience in leadership roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in project or delivery management.
• Strong technical expertise in Java.
• Experience in a containerized cloud-native environment (GCP/AWS).
• Proficient in English (B2+) both spoken and written.
• Familiarity with system design and contemporary engineering practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and build teams in dynamic settings.
• A product mindset with end-to-end ownership experience.
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in utilizing AI tools and large language models (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude).
• Ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs and apply them responsibly in professional contexts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Cloud certifications.
• Scrum Master or Product Owner certification.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
• Exposure to security, compliance, or enterprise environments.
