This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a diverse technical team comprising engineers and scientists.
• Support the advancement of next-generation LWR BWRX-300, GEN 4 reactor designs, along with products, designs, and services for current fleets and fuel.
• Direct dose consequence and dispersion analyses related to nuclear, radiological, and safety analysis engineering.
• Supervise the development of core, coolant, fuel pool, and system source terms, as well as decay heat analyses.
• Address ALARA considerations for worker doses and public safety.
• Report to the Senior Engineering Manager responsible for Reactor Safety and Reliability delivery.
• Provide both technical and managerial leadership for the team.
• Inspire, recruit, mentor, and cultivate technical talent and depth.
• Maintain relationships with internal engineering managers, business leaders, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external partners, customers, the NRC, and other relevant regulatory agencies on technical matters.
• Lead the performance and program management of assigned tasks.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering commitments in accordance with contracts, procedures, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Plan, organize, and oversee technical activities and tasks that support engineering deliverables.
• Manage external resources to guarantee quality, flexibility, and improved cost efficiency in deliverables.
• Support commercial and marketing initiatives and pursue new business opportunities.
• Safeguard GVH intellectual property rights.
• Promote process improvements, simplification, and design-to-cost initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear quality requirements, including design reviews and Corrective Actions.
• Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering, physics, or a closely related scientific discipline from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of experience in nuclear radiological analysis.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information; final job offers are contingent upon the ability to secure authorization from the U.S. Government.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• M.S. or Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a liaison between organizations operating in different geographic locations.
• Proven track record of delivering results while fostering strong team performance.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; capacity to think strategically, be innovative, and act swiftly.
• Proven ability to lead a team of highly experienced engineers while balancing multiple demands and priorities.
• Experience in project management, including communication, risk management, planning/scheduling, and change management.
• Familiarity with USNRC licensing requirements.
• Knowledge of and experience with EPC, specifically in power plants.
• Understanding of and experience in the nuclear industry and associated technologies.
• Experience with new builds in the power sector.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to document, plan, market, and manage programs that enhance business knowledge, understanding, and capabilities.
