Engineering Manager – Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead a cross-functional team comprising frontend and backend engineers tasked with enhancing core consumer experiences at Krak.

• Take ownership of the complete user experience for essential Krak features across both mobile and client platforms.

• Oversee the delivery of high-caliber consumer applications that prioritize usability, performance, and scalability.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define and launch impactful features that provide measurable value to both the business and customers.

• Work alongside Engineering Managers and Tech Leads to uphold consistent engineering standards across various services and client platforms.

• Advocate for engineering excellence, sustainable architectures, and high code quality.

• Mentor engineers to encourage technical development, collaboration, and inclusivity within the team.

• Enhance team organization and project delivery by implementing agile methodologies, project tracking, and engineering metrics such as DORA and cycle time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams that deliver customer-facing products at scale.

• Proven ability to manage combined frontend and backend engineering teams effectively.

• Strong technical expertise in React Native and contemporary frontend architectures.

• Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills in intricate, multi-platform environments.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• A genuine empathy for customers and a passion for creating intuitive, high-performance consumer experiences.

• Experience in developing large-scale consumer or financial products.

• Familiarity with Rust or similar programming languages like Go or C++ is a plus.

• Understanding of async architectures, APIs, and microservices is advantageous.

• Experience in the payments and card sectors is a bonus.
