Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, modernization, and deployment of enterprise applications utilizing the Microsoft technology stack.

• Stay actively involved by participating in architecture, conducting code reviews, designing technical specifications, debugging, and resolving intricate production issues.

• Spearhead the transformation of legacy applications to contemporary .NET and cloud-native architectures.

• Promote engineering best practices, which include clean architecture, secure coding, automated testing, code quality, observability, and CI/CD.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering productivity and software quality.

• Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team through technical mentorship, career development, and ongoing feedback.

• Collaborate with Security teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.

• Lead technical decision-making, architecture governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12–15 years of experience in software engineering.

• Extensive expertise in C#, .NET Framework, modern .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework.

• Practical experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and contemporary frontend development.

• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, database design, and performance optimization.

• Experience in designing and developing secure RESTful APIs using OAuth2, JWT, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and modern DevOps methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with AI-powered software development tools and the integration of AI into engineering workflows.

• Demonstrated experience in leading Agile engineering teams and delivering enterprise software solutions.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities.
