This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Lead a team responsible for developing the software infrastructure that integrates EVs, chargers, solar power, and batteries.
• Facilitate optimization for home fleets as well as individual households.
• Oversee the team's technical vision from start to finish.
• Collaborate with the product team to establish an ambitious project roadmap.
• Set and maintain high engineering standards.
• Influence strategy, product initiatives, and roadmaps in conjunction with the CTO.
• Engage in the engineering leadership team beyond the immediate focus of the team.
• Spearhead the integration of AI in the development, deployment, and maintenance of software.
• Recruit, nurture, mentor, and develop team members.
• Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable with empathy and firmness.
• Delegate significant responsibilities to the team.
• Constructively challenge stakeholders, plans, and decisions made by the CTO.
• Cultivate trusted relationships across engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• Provide and accept direct feedback.
• At least 3 years of experience managing engineering teams.

• Open to both player-coach and management-only approaches.
• Ability to work within the CET ±3h time zone.
