Engineering Interview Day

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Participate in the FTW Virtual Engineering Interview Day for full-time, internship, and co-op positions.

• Assist in capital projects and deliver solutions for clients both individually and as part of a team.

• Utilize engineering design expertise and technical problem-solving skills in manufacturing initiatives.

• Aid in the design of manufacturing processes, oversee project management, and help develop facilities.

• Take charge of project execution, which encompasses line layout engineering, mechanical design, vendor and contractor management, equipment procurement, schedule oversight, financial management, site supervision, start-up, and installation.

• Collaborate with on-site and remote cross-functional project teams, vendors, contractors, and OEMs.

• Engage directly with clients and industry specialists to provide high-quality solutions.

• Cultivate relationships with clients and team members while enhancing project outcomes.

• Proficient in interacting effectively with management, clients, and vendors.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

• Basic knowledge of project management principles.

• Willingness to travel as needed for project tasks, including installation, start-up activities, meetings, training sessions, seminars, forums, and conventions.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, biomedical, or civil (structural concentration) engineering, bioengineering, architecture, or a related degree or certification from an ABET accredited program.

• Previous involvement in campus or community service activities is preferred.

• Experience in co-op, internship, or projects related to engineering, consulting, programming, facility design, construction management, process design, drafting, or architecture is preferred.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or 3D facility modeling software is preferred.
