This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
• Oversee initiatives to evaluate and improve Ferguson’s market standing for civil sitework solutions.
• Boost the visibility of Ferguson Geo/Stormwater products through trade shows, conferences, meetings, and presentations.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations across the designated geographical area.
• Investigate local green infrastructure regulations and formulate targeted sales strategies for municipalities and developers.
• Interact with end users, engineering firms, and contractors in person to support project opportunities and enhance product awareness.
• Coordinate and manage projects throughout the specification process with engineering, design, and project management teams.
• Contribute to the national growth initiatives of the Geosynthetics and Stormwater Management team.
• Assist contractors and municipalities with installation and maintenance practices, including pre-bid, pre-construction, and post-construction meetings.
• Collaborate on sales revenue management with the Geo Storm Associate, managers, and vendor partners.
• Provide prompt feedback on ongoing projects and sales, including pipeline tracking.
• Must reside in or close to Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine.
• A B.S. in Civil Engineering or an engineering license is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with innovative products in the Geosynthetics and Stormwater Management field is preferred.
• Previous technical writing experience, including proposals, emails, and submissions, is essential.
• Must be a competent and engaging public speaker.
• Strong proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft applications and navigating various software systems, is required.
• Basic reporting experience using Excel, including sorting, filtering, and data compilation, is required.
• Previous experience with Salesforce CRM is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Proven relationship-building, customer service, and interpersonal abilities are required.
• Capability to be flexible, adaptable, and multitask while managing multiple urgent requests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to convey ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the designated region/geography for meetings and site visits.
