This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Conduct Thorough Examination and Testing (TExT) of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems at customer locations.
β’ Evaluate LEV systems that manage dust, fumes, vapours, and mists.
β’ Review fans, ductwork, hoods, and filtration systems.
β’ Create clear and professional reports along with actionable recommendations.
β’ Assist clients in maintaining safe working environments and complying with legal obligations under COSHH regulations.
β’ Operate independently within an assigned region.
β’ Organize inspection schedules, manage workload, and set priorities.
β’ Foster trustworthy relationships with customers.
β’ Conduct visits to schools, hospitals, manufacturing plants, and production sites.
β’ Collaborate with seasoned Engineer Surveyors and Team Leaders.
β’ Engage in technical development, induction, and training programs.
β’ A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in a mechanical engineering-related field.
β’ Hands-on engineering experience in maintenance, servicing, repair, manufacturing, installation, testing, or inspection settings.
β’ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, with the capacity to implement engineering principles practically.
β’ A valid full UK driving licence.
β’ Proficient organizational and time-management abilities.
β’ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Competent in the use of tablets, smartphones, and digital reporting tools.
β’ Ability to work safely and efficiently in industrial and commercial environments, including those requiring access to elevated equipment.
β’ Previous experience as an Engineer Surveyor is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with LEV, extraction, air handling, or industrial ventilation is advantageous.
β’ Knowledge of COSHH regulations is a plus.
β’ Experience in manufacturing, production, process engineering, or industrial settings is desirable.
β’ Background in technical reports and compliance documentation is a benefit.
β’ Progress towards Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status or professional registration is desirable.
β’ Awareness of responsible Artificial Intelligence usage is a plus.
