Engagement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the completion of CHE in nephrology offices, clinics, or through telehealth services.

• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and clinics to prepare for in-person appointments.

• Conduct outbound calls to patients, caregivers, and clinics regarding CHE scheduling, reminders, and rescheduling.

• Arrange telehealth CHEs for patients who are unable to attend in person.

• Welcome new patients into the program and gather new concerns from existing patients.

• Escalate patient issues to the RN or Nurse Practitioner as necessary.

• Maintain precise documentation and communicate patient updates to the care team.

• Build trust, encourage patient participation, and address barriers to engagement.

• Organize outreach activities based on urgency and significance to maximize patient impact.

• Operate across both ES and CC roles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in either Pacific or Mountain time zones.

• Full-Time commitment with a Monday–Friday schedule.

• Home workspace should include a quiet, private area with high-speed internet access.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Previous IKC experience is mandatory (CC/ES).

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in customer service, patient-facing, or telephonic outreach roles is preferred.

• Prior experience in a healthcare environment is desirable.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is necessary.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening and motivational techniques.

• Highly organized with exceptional time management and follow-through capabilities.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with care team members.
