This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Provide continuous support, resources, and guidance to designated regional local and district teams, as well as community Resident Engagement associates through meetings, conference calls, site visits, and personalized coaching.
• Assist in corporate initiatives related to resident program standards, budgets, policies, resources, guidelines, and training manuals.
• Implement, communicate, and advocate for a person-centered engagement strategy tailored to residents’ interests within Brookdale-owned and managed communities.
• Oversee and manage the Brookdale engagement mentor program, offering professional development to designated mentors.
• Collaborate with District team members and community leadership teams to identify and achieve business objectives.
• Uphold resident engagement philosophies, standards, and goals within the assigned region.
• Provide financial oversight of the Resident Engagement budget in relation to community performance metrics.
• Liaise with regional, district, and community leadership regarding compliance with standards, recommendations, and development strategies.
• Offer Resident Engagement support, consultation, and follow-up to community Executive Directors, including site visits and interviewing final candidates for resident program roles.
• Document and submit site visit reports along with action plans and next steps.
• Welcome and assist new Resident Engagement associates, connecting them with mentors for onboarding and ongoing training.
• Execute innovative company initiatives, pilots, programs, and events across the assigned region.
• Organize and lead monthly regional EngagementPlus planning calls to address staff training, support requirements, programming ideas, standards, policies, procedures, and new initiatives.
• Coach and mentor community Resident Engagement associates in various groups, resident-led clubs, individual pursuits, and external collaborations.
• Support, train, and supervise community Facebook editors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Facilitate professional development for the mentor program, including training, meetings, company initiatives, and planning calls.
• Oversee the interview and site visit processes for new mentor applicants.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Strongly preferred: experience in a senior living environment with direct involvement in resident programming, including programming for residents across multiple levels of care.
• Strongly preferred: operational leadership experience, including multi-site management.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 75% of the time.
• May be required to work additional hours and/or be on call during off hours.
• Extensive knowledge, interest, and demonstrated capability in program planning for older adults.
• Commitment to enhancing the dignity, quality of life, and optimal functioning of older adults.

• Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.
• Proficient computer skills.
