This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee a portfolio of interconnected projects and extensive, multi-year programs tailored for strategic enterprise clients.
• Manage dependencies between projects, resource distribution, and ensure consistent communication across various initiatives.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and offer strategic direction and updates regarding project progress.
• Align executive expectations and serve as a reliable advisor.
• Supervise the financial health of engagements, including budget management, revenue forecasts, profitability, and financial reporting.
• Spearhead projects from the definition of requirements to deployment.
• Define timelines, scopes, budget estimates, and implementation strategies.
• Coordinate both internal and external resources to maintain adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Evaluate project progress and adjust scope, timelines, and costs as necessary.
• Navigate competing stakeholder priorities through negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Establish scalable project management methodologies, quality benchmarks, and performance metrics.
• Identify and manage risks across various projects and programs.
• Monitor resource requirements and allocations.
• Act as Senior Engagement Manager for strategic initiatives and lead project teams.
• Oversee the management of scope, schedules, budgets, change orders, risks, and delivery key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Communicate project outcomes and risks through the appropriate management channels and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with sales teams to uncover cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
• Guide clients through organizational transformations associated with enterprise-level projects.
• Enhance delivery processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project and program management within a professional services or consulting setting.
• Proven experience with enterprise-level projects exceeding $1M.
• A demonstrated history of managing a portfolio of projects for enterprise clients.
• Expertise in enterprise/ISV project delivery finances, including P&L management, budget forecasting, and reporting.
• Exceptional skills in executive communication and presentation, particularly to C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• Advanced problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of best practices in program governance.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
• Experience in escalation management along with proactive measures to ensure delivery quality, budget, and timelines.
• Understanding of cloud-native technologies, preferably AWS, data processing, and/or analytics.
• Proven success in a change management role within a large organization.
• Demonstrated business development experience, including identifying and pursuing new opportunities within a client base.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CSM, or other relevant credentials are preferred.
