Engagement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the implementation and consulting engagements for Eightfold from the project's inception to deployment and stabilization.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients on a daily basis, building trusted relationships with client stakeholders and project leaders.

• Oversee the overall delivery of projects, including managing the scope, schedule, budget, resource planning, risks, issues, dependencies, and quality.

• Create and maintain project plans, status reports, governance materials, RAID logs, financial tracking, and other essential project documentation.

• Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status updates, steering committee discussions, and other client governance activities.

• Collaborate with functional and technical team members to set priorities, coordinate activities, and ensure successful project execution.

• Manage project scope and change requests in collaboration with leadership and clients.

• Monitor financial aspects of the engagement, including project budget, forecasts, utilization, and delivery health.

• Identify risks and issues, devise mitigation strategies, and proactively escalate concerns as needed.

• Track and ensure the achievement of project milestones, deliverables, and commitments to clients.

• Assist clients with project-related decisions, organizational dependencies, testing, deployment readiness, and change management.

• Coordinate efforts across Eightfold, Workday, integration, data, reporting, and other project teams.

• Manage client expectations and effectively communicate project status, risks, decisions, and recommendations.

• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment.

• Collaborate with sales and practice leadership during project transitions, scoping discussions, and opportunities for expansion.

• Identify ways to enhance client outcomes, delivery processes, and relationships.

• Contribute to the development of Eightfold delivery methodologies, templates, tools, and reusable practice assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, enterprise technology implementation, project management, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in leading enterprise technology implementation projects or client engagements.

• Proven experience in managing project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and client expectations.

• Experience in leading cross-functional project teams within a client-facing consulting environment.

• Strong grasp of enterprise SaaS implementation methodologies and project lifecycles.

• Experience in facilitating client meetings, project governance, executive communications, and status reporting.

• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience in managing project budgets, forecasts, and scope.

• Demonstrated capability to identify risks, resolve issues, manage escalations, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both project teams and executive stakeholders.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and engagements efficiently.

• Ability to cultivate strong client relationships and establish credibility as a trusted advisor.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed, and client-facing consulting environment.

• Preferred: Experience implementing or supporting Eightfold AI or another talent intelligence or HR technology platform.

• Preferred: Experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, talent management, workforce planning, or other HR technology solutions.

• Preferred: Experience working within the Workday ecosystem or for a Workday services partner.

• Preferred: Experience managing Workday, Eightfold, or other enterprise SaaS implementations.

• Preferred: Experience managing projects that involve multiple technology platforms or third-party integrations.

• Preferred: Experience supporting sales pursuits, project scoping, statements of work, or expansion opportunities.
