Engagement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee one or multiple client engagements or engagement teams

• Manage client expectations through consistent check-ins and timely updates on progress

• Ensure that service delivery aligns with the success criteria set by clients

• Measure business benefits throughout the lifecycle of the engagement

• Supervise engagements to achieve objectives, meet deadlines, stay within budgets, and adhere to internal compliance standards

• Handle engagement budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management

• Allocate and optimize resources across various engagements

• Identify potential risks and implement strategies for mitigation

• Build and sustain relationships with client stakeholders

• Provide updates to both internal and external stakeholders

• Prepare performance reports and present them to senior management and clients

• Lead engagement teams, mentor junior team members, and encourage collaboration

• Enhance client satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional services and resolving issues

• Recognize upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with sales and practice partners

• Occasional travel may be required several times a year

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

• At least 3 years of experience in project management

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English

• Strong analysis and problem-solving capabilities

• Effective time management and organizational skills

• Proficient people management skills

• Familiarity with project management fundamentals or experience as a Scrum Master

• Knowledge of professional services agreements, including change management

• Exposure to IT Managed Services, project management courses, and other IT-related certifications

• Proven abilities in project risk analysis and mitigation

• Preferred: Experience in the IT Professional Services sector

• Preferred: PMP and/or IAOP (Outsourcing Professional) and Scrum Master certifications

• Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and XP
