This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Lead the sales of storage products and solutions within a designated territory, industry, or client accounts in the Western Region.
β’ Serve as the primary authority on storage and associated products.
β’ Develop and manage the storage sales pipeline.
β’ Identify and pursue new business opportunities in acquisition and development accounts.
β’ Collaborate with account pursuit teams, account managers, presales, channel partners, and various stakeholders.
β’ Enhance sales readiness through the transfer of storage knowledge.
β’ Ensure pipeline integrity, account planning, and the use of internal sales tools.
β’ Evaluate solution feasibility and determine qualify-in/qualify-out status.
β’ Negotiate and secure profitable deals through effective closure.
β’ Build consultative relationships with clients, including C-level executives for mid-to-large accounts.
β’ Position HPE products and services utilizing insights from competitor and industry knowledge.
β’ Develop channel partnerships, leverage key technologies, and co-sell to end users.
β’ Organize and execute storage marketing campaigns.
β’ Act as a trusted consultant for storage solutions.
β’ Communicate HPE's storage strategy and portfolio to partners and clients.
β’ Connect business and financial advantages to technology offerings, demonstrating ROI and TCO benefits.
β’ Foster customer relationships to ensure account retention and growth.
β’ Coordinate regional pursuit resources and manage external partnerships.
β’ Over 6 years of sales experience.
β’ More than 5 years of sales experience with the Federal Government.
β’ Preferred experience selling to the Department of Energy.
β’ US citizenship is mandatory.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in storage sales.
β’ Proven track record of achieving progressively higher sales quotas.
β’ Familiarity with interfacing with a wide range of business customers at all levels.
β’ Comprehensive vertical industry knowledge.
β’ A university or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in storage, cloud, solution, or service offerings and competitor products.
β’ In-depth understanding of industry trends and partner/ISV solutions.
β’ Advanced financial acumen.
β’ Knowledge of program/project management methodologies and processes.
β’ Capability to engage and sell to service providers.
β’ Skill in aligning partner capabilities with storage-related opportunities.
