ENDO/IG Access Care Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for enrolled patients from the enrollment stage through the initiation and continuation of therapy.

• Perform assessments of patient needs, addressing coverage, affordability, and logistical access challenges.

• Facilitate coordination of care among healthcare providers, caregivers, and care sites.

• Ensure accountability for the entire patient progression and proactively address barriers.

• Serve as a field-based authority on reimbursement, coverage pathways, and payer policies related to Pfizer therapies.

• Advise healthcare providers on prior authorization, step edits, coding, and payer-specific requirements.

• Address reimbursement issues through escalation and coordination efforts.

• Provide compliant education regarding reimbursement processes, coverage pathways, hub services, enrollment, and financial assistance programs.

• Create and implement access strategies at the account level.

• Identify systemic obstacles and enhance workflows to minimize delays in therapy initiation.

• Interact with payer organizations to clarify coverage policies and resolve access issues.

• Foster communication between healthcare provider offices, payers, and patient support programs.

• Offer internal stakeholders insights into payer trends, reimbursement challenges, and access barriers.

• Convert field insights into strategic recommendations across functions.

• Collaborate with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, and Patient Solutions teams.

• Engage in account planning and implement coordinated patient-centered access strategies.

• Travel regularly by air and to healthcare provider offices; approximately 30% travel with overnight stays required.

• Utilize a Pfizer company vehicle.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or related fields in customer-facing roles; 9 years if holding a Master’s, BSN, or RPh.

• At least 1 year of experience in an Access and Reimbursement support role.

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Specialty Pharma.

• Required experience in Reimbursement and Access.

• Preferred experience in the Endocrinology or Immunoglobulin sectors.

• Strong understanding of reimbursement, government payment systems, provider/carrier networks, co-pay assistance programs, and specialty policy dynamics in the rare disease community.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience in strategic planning and successful implementation of plans.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate across internal boundaries with multiple stakeholders.

• Ability to operate in a highly regulated environment while adhering to strict company compliance guidelines and procedures.

• Proven history of collaboration with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders.

• Training and experience in responsible business communication, both written and verbal.

• Valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.

• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired-driving citation within the last 7 years disqualifies hiring.

• Must reside within the designated geography or within 25 miles of territory boundaries.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.

• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.

• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
