This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +5 more states.
β’ Offer assistance to employees and management regarding workplace issues, ensuring compliance with policies and employment laws within a healthcare environment.
β’ Assess employee relations challenges and propose suitable solutions to management.
β’ Create, implement, and manage the corrective action process in alignment with policies and regulations affecting employees.
β’ Collaborate with management to establish objectives for all facets of employee relations.
β’ Advise employees, managers, and teams to encourage effective problem-solving.
β’ Carry out investigations concerning discrimination and harassment allegations.
β’ Provide coaching to individuals or teams in leadership, management, or other relevant topics.
β’ Engage with department leaders, employees, or managers to deliver training and staff development initiatives.
β’ Facilitate negotiation and collaboration with employees, managers, and diverse situations.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field is required, or a minimum of six years of relevant work experience may substitute for a bachelorβs degree.
β’ At least one year of experience in employee relations is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with human resources policies, practices, procedures, and federal and/or state employment laws is essential.
β’ Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is preferred.
β’ Candidates must reside in SD, ND, MN, WI, IA, or NE.
