This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver consistent and strategic Employee Relations consultation to both managers and employees.
• Address employee concerns and provide guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary measures, and termination processes.
• Conduct and engage in all stages of local HR investigations.
• Formulate investigation plans and execute fair, impartial, and timely investigations.
• Oversee the daily management of reported issues using ServiceNow and Navex case management systems.
• Handle employee relations issues by interpreting policies related to conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and termination protocols.
• Collaborate with Operational Management, Business HR, Labor Relations, Legal Teams, and other specialists on intricate Employee Relations cases.
• Provide high-quality HR support through performance management, risk mitigation in legal compliance, administration of relevant union collective bargaining agreements, employee communication, and partnership with centers of excellence.
• Analyze and interpret data to track employee relations trends and support proactive and preventative measures.
• Offer recommendations to Operational Management and HRBPs.
• Stay informed about legal mandates and employment laws within the region.
• Travel as necessary to company locations within the designated region.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or a related field; or four (4) additional years of relevant experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist roles, or employee relations.
• Intermediate proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (Intermediate level).
• Skill in conducting sensitive investigations and recognizing violations of federal, state, and local laws and/or company policies.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills and capacity to maintain impartiality during investigations.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
• Capability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Competence to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and train on the technology and functional aspects of case management systems.
• Flexibility to operate effectively and a self-driven attitude to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay highly organized, and utilize time effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is an advantage.
