This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
β’ Act as the main point of contact between employees and the organization throughout the LATAM region.
β’ Oversee regional operations while ensuring compliance standards are met and nurturing positive employee relations.
β’ Provide guidance to HR Business Partners, managers, and employees regarding employment laws, regulations, People policies, compensation, and benefits.
β’ Collaborate with HR Business Partners on regional business modifications and their execution.
β’ Advise managers and employees on processes related to sick leave and termination.
β’ Conduct investigations into complex employee relations matters while ensuring confidentiality and neutrality.
β’ Assist with onboarding, offboarding, data management, and other transactional activities throughout the employee lifecycle.
β’ Uphold the Compliance Framework and disseminate best practices within the ER Team.
β’ Track and evaluate employee relations metrics and trends.
β’ Coordinate company-wide and region-specific HR initiatives with People Centers of Excellence.
β’ Create and present manager training on People compliance and employee relations subjects.
β’ Lead or contribute to strategic HR projects aimed at enhancing employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience with LATAM labor laws.
β’ Relevant experience in Honduras and/or Argentina is beneficial; familiarity with labor laws in Mexico is an advantage.
β’ Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ Over 4 years of experience in employee relations is preferred.
β’ Experience collaborating with various key stakeholders and effectively functioning as part of a team.
β’ Strong knowledge of employment law and regulatory frameworks in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
β’ Proven experience in formulating and enforcing policies and procedures for compliance assurance.
β’ Established background in employee relations or a similar HR role.
β’ Experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the tech or BPO sector.
β’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
β’ Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
β’ Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
β’ Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
β’ Proficient in HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Minimum internet speed of 15 Mb/s download and 15 Mb/s upload, with latency under 120 ms internationally.
β’ At least 8 GB RAM.
β’ Operating system requirements: Windows 11 (excluding S Mode) or macOS 13.0 or newer.
β’ CPU Mark of at least 7368; must be 8th-generation Intel or newer, or 2nd-generation Ryzen or newer.
β’ Integrated graphics card.
β’ Smartphone that supports two-factor authentication with Android 10.0+ or Apple iOS 16.0+.
