Employee Relations Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee incoming employee relations inquiries through email and phone communications.

• Address employee relations issues swiftly and effectively.

• Manage and record multiple cases of varying complexities in the Employee Relations case management system.

• Advise leaders and colleagues to ensure cases are resolved consistently and equitably.

• Recognize trends and work together with HR Centers of Excellence on actionable plans.

• Conduct HR-related training sessions for both associates and managers.

• Investigate and document intricate complaints while adhering to applicable laws.

• Create detailed reports and collaborate with legal counsel on litigation-related matters.

• Meet with executives to present findings and suggest disciplinary measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in employee relations within HR.

• SHRM/HRCI certifications are preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an advantage.

• In-depth understanding of employment laws and fair practices.

• Excellent coaching, conflict resolution, and consulting abilities.

• Capability to manage several issues simultaneously while ensuring confidentiality.

• Experience with leave of absence processes is beneficial.

• Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.

• Willingness to travel less than 10% of the time.
