Employee Relations Advisor – 9 Month FTC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and resolve a substantial portfolio of intricate employee-relations cases, encompassing appeals and tribunal preparations.

• Provide guidance to managers during organizational changes, restructures, and consultation processes.

• Act as the company representative in virtual disciplinary, grievance, and collective consultation meetings.

• Update policies in accordance with changing UK&I legislation.

• Offer practical coaching to enhance management capabilities.

• Collaborate with the broader People team on initiatives to enhance and scale HR operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing a highly complex and sensitive employee-relations caseload in a dedicated advisory or specialist role.

• Comprehensive and current understanding of UK&I employment legislation.

• Practical background in change programs, organizational restructures, trade union consultations, and employment tribunal preparations.

• CIPD qualification.

• Pragmatic problem-solving skills and a commercial, solution-oriented approach.

• Strong stakeholder management abilities with the capacity to build trust and challenge leaders at all levels.

• Capability to handle competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in articulating complex legal advice clearly.

• Collaborative judgment and the ability to work across the wider People function.

• Skill in recognizing when to escalate issues.
