This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Aid in the creation of open enrollment kits and associated materials.
• Engage in and develop materials for client strategy sessions, planning meetings, and issue discussions alongside the account team.
• Gather data and prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs) across various coverage lines.
• Assess RFP responses and generate both qualitative and quantitative evaluations.
• Execute the implementation of new cases using a checklist and guide clients through their existing benefit plans.
• Communicate and assist in the execution of compliance and regulatory changes, which include COBRA, ERISA, HSA, HRA, Flex, and HIPAA.
• Review and rectify SPDs, Wrap documents, and carrier certifications.
• Provide support for group medical and ancillary programs.
• Prepare renewal documentation and present options under the guidance of the Risk Advisor or Account Executive.
• Address claims issues, benefit and coverage inquiries, open enrollment queries, compliance questions, and other benefits-related concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to manage workloads and uphold vendor and client relationships.
• Carry out customer and company actions to prevent potential errors and omissions.
• Report directly to the Employee Benefits Department Manager.
• Highly driven and motivated for growth.
• Demonstrates professionalism, client-oriented skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Strong oral and written communication capabilities.
• Active Life, Health, and Accident License preferred.
• Competent in navigating and utilizing automation systems and workflows.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee benefits and insurance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Skilled with customer management systems and record-keeping practices.
• Capable of working effectively for 40+ hours per week, including prolonged computer usage.
• Proficient in communicating effectively through telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, and mail technologies.
• Ability to read and comprehend standard typed documents.
• Willingness to travel.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday during core hours of 8:00am-5:00pm CST.
