This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and propose JA USA’s comprehensive email marketing strategy, roadmap, and performance objectives.
• Oversee the complete email program lifecycle from initial concept to delivery and analysis, encompassing campaign architecture, content strategy, scheduling, segmentation, personalization, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Set standards for email copy, visual presentation, calls to action, responsive templates, brand voice, accessibility, and user experience.
• Create advanced audience segmentation and lifecycle strategies.
• Design and execute A/B and multivariate testing programs.
• Develop measurement frameworks and convert deliverability, open rate, click-through rate, conversion, and ROI data into actionable recommendations.
• Manage email database quality, list governance, opt-in practices, deliverability, sender reputation, and ensure compliance with GDPR and CAN-SPAM regulations.
• Analyze industry trends, platform capabilities, automation possibilities, and emerging best practices.
• Facilitate planning coordination with marketing, design, content, analytics, technology, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide expert guidance, tools, standards, and consultation to JA associates nationwide.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
• 4 to 6 years of progressively responsible experience in email marketing, marketing automation, digital marketing, or a related discipline, including the leadership of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven experience in developing email marketing strategies, managing extensive campaign portfolios, enhancing marketing processes, and leveraging performance data to shape strategy, priorities, and investments.
• Comprehensive understanding of audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing, personalization, deliverability, database hygiene, sender reputation, experimentation, and performance measurement.
• Strong proficiency with email marketing and marketing automation platforms such as Dynamics 365, HubSpot, Constant Contact, or similar tools, including CRM integration and campaign reporting.
• Experience in interpreting campaign and web analytics and transforming performance data into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Background in advising stakeholders and enabling distributed teams or partners to execute email campaigns within established standards, processes, and expectations.
• In-depth knowledge of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, opt-in practices, and other data protection and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS for customizing email templates, responsive design, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, copywriting, editing, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influence skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects, streamline processes, set priorities, and execute effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Relevant certification in email marketing, marketing automation, analytics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Google Analytics, digital advertising platforms, and marketing technology consultation is preferred.
