Eligibility Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Gather and record referral information through fax, email, or electronic medical record portals.

• Respond to incoming calls concerning referrals.

• Input details of new patients and referral sources into the system.

• Inform the intake coordinator about pending referrals.

• Provide assistance with phone communications and clerical tasks as necessary.

• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy throughout all processes.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• Facilitate patient intake for CarepathRx within Evernorth Health Services’ Pharmacy and Care Delivery organization.

• Collaborate with hospitals and health systems to support specialty pharmacy and infusion services.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• At least 1 year of experience in insurance verification, prior authorization, or a related field within a pharmacy or healthcare environment.

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

• Strong computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office.

• Expertise in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• A solid focus on customer service and teamwork.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.

• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple responsibilities.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 10:30am to 7pm ET, including rotating weekends and holidays.

• For remote work, high-speed cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is required.
