This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Gather and record referral information through fax, email, or electronic medical record portal.

• Respond to incoming calls concerning referrals.

• Input details of new patients and referral sources into the system.

• Inform the intake coordinator about pending referrals.

• Provide assistance with phone communication and clerical tasks as necessary.

• Uphold confidentiality and precision in all procedures.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

• Support CarepathRx within Evernorth Health Services’ Pharmacy and Care Delivery organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Over 1 year of experience in insurance verification, prior authorization, or related roles in a pharmacy or healthcare environment.

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Strong focus on customer service and teamwork.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.

• Competence in prioritizing and managing several tasks effectively.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 7 pm ET, with rotating weekend shifts and holidays.

• For remote work, a stable internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service provider with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed.
