📋 Description

• Assist specialty pharmacy patients in coordinating their medication requirements and insurance coverage.

• Respond to patient calls and handle inquiries with empathy, precision, and care.

• Coordinate and verify that services are covered by insurance.

• Clarify deductibles, co-payments, and authorizations to patients.

• Investigate benefits coverage issues in collaboration with pharmacists and doctors’ offices.

• Offer guidance regarding medication coverage.

• Manage multiple requests while ensuring attention to detail.

• Record conversation details in the computer system.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Experience in Customer Service.

• Preferred health care experience with familiarity in medical insurance and terminology.

• Basic knowledge of PCs.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• A cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed is necessary for remote work.
