Electrical Testing & Remedial Works Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and execute related remedial tasks

• Accurately diagnose, identify, and report electrical faults

• Document all job notes, photographs, and certificates utilizing Oneserve and EasyCert

• Maintain professional communication with residents, clients, and coworkers

• Provide outstanding customer service consistently

• Comply with company policies and operational standards

• Participate in training and contribute to continuous improvement of the business

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management

• Ensure safety in accordance with current Health & Safety regulations

• Perform complete rewires for non-compliant properties when necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of the electrical sector

• Significant experience in testing and inspection

• Proficient in completing electrical certification

• Demonstrated diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team

• Precise reporting capabilities and exceptional attention to detail

• Comfortable using mobile devices to fill out electronic job sheets

• Good practical abilities and effective communication with customers

• Positive demeanor, dependability, and excellent time management

• Level 3 Electrical Installations Diploma

• City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification (or equivalent preferred)

• AM2 Assessment (preferred)

• Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391-51)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18)

• Full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months)
