This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assist client personnel with everyday Fortinet product operations and support.

• Create methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades, and updates.

• Formulate test plans and evaluate new features and/or releases.

• Confirm configurations and apply best practices.

• Conduct interoperability assessments of devices interacting with Fortinet products.

• Offer training and knowledge transfer to client personnel.

• Cultivate and sustain core expertise in Fortinet products and technologies.

• Resolve and/or escalate issues promptly.

• Collaborate with the end user to outline specific daily tasks throughout the agreement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration.

• More than 5 years of experience with Network Security Products.

• At least 2 years of experience with Fortinet products.

• Experience in a Professional Services Consultant/Engineer role is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of security and networking principles and technologies.

• Familiarity with Network Security Infrastructure – Switching, Routing, Load Balancing, WiFi.

• Knowledge of Security systems – Firewall, IPS, VPN, Antivirus, AntiSpam, Web Filtering, Application Control.

• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Experience working independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative setting.

• Capability to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to respond to project adjustments and changes swiftly and efficiently.

• Adaptability during periods of change.

• Skill in garnering cooperation from upper management, clients, and various departments.

• Proficient in successfully completing projects with political sensitivity.

• Strong commitment and self-motivated approach.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related work experience.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
