This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist client personnel with the daily operation and support of Fortinet products.

• Create methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades, and updates.

• Formulate test plans and evaluate new features and/or releases.

• Verify configurations and implement industry best practices.

• Conduct interoperability assessments of devices interacting with Fortinet solutions.

• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client personnel.

• Develop and sustain core expertise on Fortinet’s product offerings and technologies.

• Address and/or escalate issues promptly.

• Collaborate with end users to outline specific daily tasks for the engagement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration.

• More than 5 years of experience with network security products.

• At least 2 years of experience with Fortinet products.

• Experience as a Professional Services Consultant/Engineer is advantageous.

• Strong comprehension of security and networking principles and technologies.

• Familiarity with switching, routing, load balancing, and WiFi.

• Knowledge of firewalls, IPS, VPN, antivirus, antispam, web filtering, and application control.

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities.

• Exceptional oral communication and presentation skills.

• Experience working both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to adjust to changing priorities, demands, timelines, project modifications, and alterations.

• Capability to gain cooperation from upper management, clients, and other departments.

• Proficiency in bringing projects to successful completion through political sensitivity.

• Strong commitment and self-motivated approach.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant work experience.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
