This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement automated testing systems, methodologies, and sequences for electrical and electronic hardware.
• Integrate testing instruments, data acquisition systems, and hardware interfaces to facilitate automation in measurements and testing.
• Develop test scripts, automation frameworks, and workflows for data analysis.
• Conduct functional, performance, validation, regression, and HIL testing as applicable.
• Analyze test outcomes and troubleshoot hardware and testing setups.
• Determine root causes of test failures.
• Review and validate testing methodologies, results, and technical strategies against project specifications.
• Engage in technical problem-solving and expert evaluations.
• Contribute human expertise to projects aimed at training and enhancing AI systems.
• Practical industry experience as an Electrical Test Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Hardware Test Engineer.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience in developing or executing automated electrical testing systems and familiarity with laboratory instrumentation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or C/C++.
• Familiarity with test automation, data acquisition, and instrument-control protocols including SCPI, GPIB, USB, Ethernet, CAN, or RS-232/485.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, testing specifications, and technical documentation.
• Preferred experience with ATE, automated testing benches, custom test fixtures, NI hardware, LabVIEW/TestStand, PXI/PXIe, or DAQ systems.
• Preferred experience with HIL/SIL, automated regression testing, or Python-based test automation.
• Experience in testing power electronics, batteries, electric vehicles, motors, embedded systems, or other intricate electrical hardware is preferred.
• Experience with high-voltage or safety-critical systems is an advantage.
• Candidates must not be H1-B or STEM OPT visa holders.
