This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Deliver project management and technical expertise related to electrical safety, procedural standards, maintenance uniformity, electrical engineering, and operational efficiency.
• Assist with facility electrical infrastructure systems to minimize safety-event risks.
• Address emergencies or potential emergencies by adhering to established protocols.
• Monitor, respond to, and report any instances of process or product non-conformity.
• Maintain security vigilance regarding key cards, facility access, and Amcor equipment.
• Supervise the Corporate Electrical Safety Program, which includes arc flash compliance, electrical system risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and training initiatives.
• Direct Arc Flash Programs across more than 180 sites in the US and Europe.
• Maintain, assess, and update the Corporate Facility Required electrical PM program.
• Act as a technical leader and mentor in electrical systems, energy management, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze site metrics and cost data to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.
• Develop plant electrical-system guidelines and advocate for corporate best practices.
• Assess plants and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Specify, recommend, and evaluate power systems studies; act as a liaison between suppliers and plants.
• Review facilities and expansion projects to determine the scope of electrical improvements and initial budget estimates.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex programs or projects spanning multiple sites concurrently.
• Familiarity with NFPA and IEEE electrical standards.
• Proficient in managing various projects and adhering to deadlines.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical safety, power distribution engineering, or a project management role.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Anticipated travel may reach up to 15%.
