This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Supervise the development of mechanical system upgrades and retrofits for Post Facility Ready.
• Assemble design teams comprising both internal stakeholders and external partners/providers.
• Facilitate the creation of collaborative execution plans.
• Oversee the design services offered by external teams that support construction activities.
• Identify stakeholders and devise strategies to plan and prioritize objectives and success criteria.
• Estimate task durations and synchronize schedules and dependencies.
• Monitor and communicate progress, as well as identify risks.
• Suggest mitigation strategies and align stakeholders on de-risking approaches.
• Measure and disseminate program and process metrics to aid in decision-making.
• Implement relevant best practices from various processes and technologies.
• Organize ambiguous projects into well-defined long-term objectives.
• Build and foster effective program teams throughout the organization.
• Align timelines, objectives, and deliverables across interconnected projects and teams.
• Manage escalations and eliminate obstacles.
• Develop and execute program communication plans along with executive communications.
• Define program phasing, metrics, governance frameworks, and change management rollout strategies.
• Maintain project trackers and status reports.
• Manage dependencies and outline program charters that detail scope, timelines, OKRs, resources, and risks.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and devise phased project plans.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in industrial or commercial HVAC systems.
• Profound understanding of mission-critical design and construction.
• Familiarity with evaporative and air-based process chilled water cooling systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and related technical areas.
• Awareness of industry construction methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of mechanical cooling systems.
• Experience in the construction or operation of large commercial buildings, high-rises, data centers, semiconductor facilities, or industrial processes.
• Advanced skills in planning and communication management.
• Proficiency in continuous improvement, execution, organizational change, and stakeholder management.
• Preferred: Master's Degree and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
