Electrical Engineer – Overhead Line Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop engineering specifications and technical documentation for Overhead Lines up to 420 kV

• Conduct calculations including sag and tension, loads, earthing, and lightning protection

• Generate Bills of Materials and Bills of Quantities

• Create Building Designs, which includes obtaining the Building Permit and Detailed Design

• Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration and coordination

• Lead technical reviews and agreements with clients and suppliers

• Provide consulting services and guidance to clients and customers

• Assist in enhancing Overhead Lines services to higher technical standards

• Aid in formulating the strategy for the expanding Power Systems Department

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or M.Sc. in electrical engineering or a related field

• In-depth expertise in Overhead Lines

• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and QGIS

• Capability to manage stakeholders and broaden your professional network

• Comfortable taking ownership of scope, making assumptions, and making decisions with clients
