This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.
• Execute electrical engineering responsibilities for the assessment, design, and documentation of electrical systems for federal initiatives.
• Develop designs for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and related building systems.
• Utilize electrical engineering methods and procedures to create constructible, code-compliant designs.
• Generate electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates.
• Oversee project documentation and monitor scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Integrate electrical design components with other engineering disciplines and internal project teams.
• Relay project development and status updates to project managers, federal clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Conduct process design calculations, analyze engineering data, and assist with feasibility assessments.
• Maintain project data and documentation within project management systems.
• Troubleshoot and assist in resolving technical design challenges.
• Aid in quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Offer technical direction and supervision to junior engineers or technical staff as assigned.
• Travel to project locations and engage in project charrettes, design reviews, and value engineering sessions.
• Must hold a Licensed Electrical Engineer credential.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (as noted under Preferred Qualifications).
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to collaborate efficiently with project teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical competencies.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, federal standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced mathematical and analytical skills pertinent to electrical engineering design.
• Proficient in design tools and technologies such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Willingness to travel and participate in project charrettes, design reviews, and value engineering sessions.
• Ability to travel to project sites and operate in diverse terrain and weather conditions.
