Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design complex electrical engineering challenges for cutting-edge AI training and assessment.

• Develop deterministic problems that have a single correct solution.

• Compose comprehensive, verified solutions and thoroughly document the reasoning behind them.

• Create problems related to circuits, electronics, signal processing, control systems, electromagnetics, power systems, or communications.

• Devise problems that necessitate multi-step quantitative reasoning and engineering judgment.

• Utilize Python, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, or specialized engineering software to confirm solutions when applicable.

• Ensure that outputs are technically accurate, reproducible, and well-articulated in English.

• Contribute to the development of high-quality STEM training data for AI model training and evaluation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• Significant research or industry experience in electrical systems, electronics, signal processing, controls, communications, or power engineering.

• Strong mathematical and computational problem-solving abilities.

• Solid understanding of circuit analysis, modeling, numerical methods, and engineering principles.

• Capability to design original, challenging problems that reflect real-world electrical engineering practices.

• Exceptional attention to detail and technical writing proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, LTspice, PSpice, PSCAD, LabVIEW, or similar tools is a plus.

• Background in control theory, digital signal processing, power electronics, RF systems, or embedded systems is advantageous.

• Experience in evaluating model reasoning, developing benchmarks, or creating technical assessments is a bonus.
