This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Manage the Electrical Engineering Software & Tooling Discipline
• Act as the main connection among digital technology, software asset management, and electrical engineering initiatives
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of electrical engineering software suites, which include PCB design, simulation, and schematic capture tools
• Evaluate, analyze, and optimize floating license pools and maintenance agreements
• Promote cost-effectiveness and license reclamation strategies that align with enterprise financial objectives
• Collaborate with electrical engineering program leads and cross-functional teams to comprehend workflow requirements and resolve bottlenecks
• Ensure the smooth provision of engineering tools
• Supervise hardware infrastructure needs, workstation configurations, and specialized server support for EE design and simulation settings
• Develop and implement long-term tooling strategies, service catalog definitions, and compliance standards
• Lead, mentor, and develop a technical team composed of engineers and administrators
• Ensure that tool deployments, server configurations, and data exchanges adhere to enterprise security and ATO compliance standards
• Advocate for AI-driven tools, automation scripts, and intelligent analytics for user onboarding and license-demand forecasting
• Travel to Raytheon locations within the continental U.S., including McKinney, Texas, and Tucson, Arizona, as well as other sites
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
• Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required from day one
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and at least 7 years of experience
• Experience in technical management or engineering software leadership, preferably within aerospace, defense, or high-tech hardware/software sectors
• Domain expertise in electrical engineering software ecosystems, computer-aided engineering (CAE) platforms, and complex license server management, such as FlexPLM and RLM
• Leadership experience in managing technical staff, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and spearheading enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% to Raytheon hub locations and other domestic U.S. sites
• Must reside and work in one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories
• Preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Preferred experience as a Manager or Team Leader in a defense contracting firm
