This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Drive the pursuit, proposal, planning, and execution of design and development initiatives for video and image processing devices.
• Formulate project and program strategies for intricate hardware disciplines and products.
• Ensure alignment with the overall program, product line, and corporate objectives while fulfilling certification requirements up to DO-254 DAL A.
• Engage in communication with Engineering, Program Management, Internal Leadership, Supply Chain, Operations, Service Centers, and customers.
• Oversee the delivery of the next-generation product line processing platform that encompasses boot, application, and RTOS software.
• Implement best-practice project management methodologies for next-generation avionics products and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Assist in hardware product lifecycle activities from requirements gathering through to verification.
• Create and sustain a computing module platform product line that caters to a diverse customer base.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• A University Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Proven experience in leading Video and Digital Processing projects in FPGA/ASIC or Software Products.
• Demonstrated ability in managing technical projects, including customer interactions and leadership briefings.
• Familiarity with DO-254 or DO-178 design assurance activities at DAL B or higher.
• Capability to interface with individual contributors, program management, and customers effectively.
• Proficiency in documenting and presenting work and project status.
• Experience with Change Management, Earned Value Management, and Lifecycle Program Management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Subversion, Jira, Jama, DOORS, and other program management tools.
• Experience utilizing FPGA/ASIC design, verification, simulation, and vendor-specific tools such as Questasim, Vivado, and Libero.
• Understanding of chip-level verification techniques and languages, including constrained random, functional coverage, code coverage, LEC, and SystemVerilog.
