Electrical Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and route electrical wire harnesses for aerospace systems.

• Formulate wire harness designs that comply with project specifications and relevant aerospace industry standards.

• Work collaboratively with electrical, mechanical, and other engineering teams to assess design feasibility and facilitate system integration.

• Engage in design reviews and suggest design enhancements.

• Ensure that wire harness designs adhere to industry standards and project requirements.

• Prepare and manage engineering documentation, drawings, reports, and associated deliverables.

• Assist with design updates and revisions throughout the development process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of pertinent experience.

• Proven experience in designing and routing wire harnesses for aerospace applications.

• Proficiency in CAD software utilized for wire harness design and routing.

• Solid understanding of electrical systems and components.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Experience with Creo for wire harness design and routing is preferred.

• Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations concerning electrical and wire harness design is preferred.

• Knowledge of project management tools is preferred.

• Authorization to work legally in the United States.

• Successful completion of a background check prior to employment.

• Passing an export compliance assessment if applicable to the position.
