This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, program, install, troubleshoot, test, and commission automation systems.
• Develop and implement logic for intricate custom applications.
• Create SCADA point lists, RTU programs, and HMI interfaces.
• Program and commission RTUs, PACs, and HMIs for clients in renewable energy and power utilities.
• Develop design packages for site networks and SCADA communication architectures.
• Ensure that designs adhere to client specifications and regulatory standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular interaction, both internally and externally.
• Apply established engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Develop plans, specifications, and observation reports.
• Suggest design modifications to enhance quality.
• Collaborate with engineering technicians and experienced electrical engineers.
• Conduct detailed engineering design and evaluations.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to others.
• Complete tasks and projects within the designated timeframes.
• Assist in the development of project schedules.
• Prepare project-direction reports and correspondence.
• Engage in marketing, sales, and business development initiatives.
• Communicate with clients to ensure their requirements are fulfilled.
• Work alongside other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Completion of an ABET-accredited program or equivalent is required.
• A Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
• 7-9+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Proficiency and working knowledge of communication protocols such as DNP3 and Modbus.
• Understanding of internet network architectures.
• Experience in network design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• A valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one before the starting date.
• Authorization for permanent work in the US.
